Each year group on our academy has two representative on our academy council. Our Councillors are elected by secret ballot in each class, following hustings in which the candidates give a speech in order to convince their class to vote for them.
Our Junior Town Council members meet representatives from other local schools half termly in the Town Council Chambers, the meetings are chaired by the Town Clerk. They discuss matters relevant to both the school community and the wider town community, playing a very active part in improving the local area. They represent Forest View at local events including the Remembrance Parade and the Christmas Lights Switch on.
