This is our Malawi class blog to let you know all that we have been doing. Please view all out latest news below and you can also link to and read details of all forthcoming events and upcoming activities opposite.
Class Malawi is a great place to be at Forest View. Mrs McCarthy is our class teacher and Mrs McClymont also works with us, teaching us and supporting us with interventions. During the year, we will also be working with Miss Lindley for singing and Ms Smith for Ukulele, who will both be teaching our music. Mr Clarke will teach Games in our PE lessons. So we will certainly get used to working with different people.
Our class is full of enthusiastic and friendly people. As a class, we work hard to complete challenges and aim to work as a team at all times. However, it is also important that we try our hardest to become independent learners too.
In the summer term, we will be working towards our SAT’s at the beginning of May. Then we will move onto Maya Matters we will explore the Ancient Maya civilisation and discuss ‘Were the Maya civilised?’
Summer term is also spent thinking about Sex and Relationships education. Exploring different kinds of relationships, Conception and Birth whilst thinking about good friendships and online safety.
We will end the term with our school production followed by a Graduation ceremony and disco to mark the end of the children’s time at Forest View.
