We will be inviting parents into school at the end of term to celebrate all our hard work with a class assembly, as well as looking forward to our residential.

Autumn Term

Our topic for this term is Stones and Bones. This exciting topic will begin with a trip to Creswell Crags; we will explore the caves and learn how humans lived thousands of years ago! In English, we will be exploring many Stone Age stories, including The Croods! Our science topic is all about rocks ans soils as well as light, we will be sampling soil and finding out about the geological make up of our local environment. Our art will link closely with our topic as we look at Andy Warhol and create some Stone Age animal prints.
