Dear Parents/Carers

Just a few items of news before we break up for the summer break.

Lost Property

We have, once again, accumulated a large amount of lost property.  We will have a trestle table outside in the large playground at the end of the day on Thursday & Friday this week.  Could you please come and take a look as any items left will be disposed of during the summer break.

Reading Books

Could we please ask you to return your child’s reading book by Friday as we need to do a stock check of books in school.  We have a large amount of library & reading books outstanding.

Year 6 Blazers

As your Year 6 child no longer needs their blazer, if you have no further use for it could we please ask that you return it to Forest View.  Our PTA sells them on, second hand, to children still at school saving them money but also raising vital funds for our PTA.

Summer Holiday

Just to remind you that school breaks up at 3.30pm on Friday, 19 July for the summer break.  School re-opens for the children at 8.55am on Monday 02 September.  You should receive a text during the holidays so that you are able to set up the school monies account for your child/ren.

Good luck to our Year 6 pupils who will be moving onto their Secondary schools in September and we look forward to welcoming our new Year 3 children.  On behalf of the staff and pupils at Forest View I would like to thank you for your support this year and wish you a good summer holiday.

Yours sincerely

Mrs R Harrison
