Y3 Stones and Bones WOW day!

On Monday Dr Ian visited our school to teach us all about the Stone Age. We learned lots of new facts, and even did a min-archaeological dig where we found lots of artefacts from the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age.

We then displayed what we had found in our very own history museums, arranging the artefacts into groups depending on which Age they were from.

In the afternoon we made our own Stone Age bracelets,  ground wheat into flour, and turned sheep’s wool into clothing by weaving. We even made our own stone age pots!
