Friday afternoon was really busy in the hall at the Forest View Academy. We welcomed our judges, parents and carers to view and buy the exciting product that we had been producing during the week. Throughout the week the children have been busy painting, baking, sticking, filling and folding to create a wide range of produce. There were games, mystery boxes, key rings, cookies, ice cream, stress ball and much, much more. All of the classes have been working hard to develop and build new friendships, improve their communication, measuring and maths skills, as well as gaining in confidence.
During the week everyone has tried something new and the children have certainly proved that they can work in a methodical and systematic way to get jobs done. The judges will reveal their decisions in Achievement Assembly on Friday 14th when the awards for innervation and sustainability will be given. Each class will be able to spend any profit they have made on resources for the classroom.
